The Tidioute Area Volunteer Fire Department is one of the most important institutions in Tidioute. It consists of a fire and ambulance service staffed by
volunteers. Anyone interested in joining the department can attend the monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of every month at the fire station on Main Street.

The Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament (PASCFT) is held the last full weekend in September each year. The tournament is hosted in
Tidioute, PA
Tidioute, the "Sportsman's Paradise," invites everyone to enjoy and participate in the annual PA State Championship Fishing Tournament and all the festivities and entertainment surrounding the
tournament. A fun-packed weekend is planned, with a program of activities for all ages, including a junior tournament for the kids. Junior Angler will be crowned at 9:00 pm Saturday
evening.

Tidioute Recycles! Our recycling center is at 60 Grant Street, next to the Tidioute Borough Maintenance Garage. It is open 24/7 with an open bin drop-off system. Items accepted are newsprint, magazines, cardboard, brown and clear glass, tin, aluminum, #1 and #2 plastic, and car batteries. We encourage our residents to recycle and thanks to the members of the Tidioute Lions Club we have a successful program.
