Tidioute Borough 2024 Budget 

Below is the Tidioute Borough 2024 budget.  The finance committee prepared the budget and presented it to the board of Council for their review and input.  As required by law, a ten-day public inspection was then advertised and held for public review and input.  The 2024 budget was then adopted during the regular December meeting of Tidioute Borough Council which was held December 12th at 7:00 pm in the Tidioute Borough Office.   

The proposed 2024 operating budget is balanced; revenues and cash balances cover all necessary expenses with a surplus for emergency expenses remaining.   Please note the following:

• Our fiscal year and our budget year are the same as the calendar year. ( January 1st - December 31st)  
• A budget is a plan – it is not an accounting of money, but rather a forecast of how much revenue the Borough anticipates it will receive and spend throughout the coming year.
• This budget includes a .50 tax increase. 
• Tidioute Borough Tax millage rate is 16.98 mills
