Tidioute Borough 2025 Budget 

Below is the Tidioute Borough 2025 budget.  The finance committee prepared the budget and presented it to the board of Council for their review and input.  As required by law, a ten-day public inspection was then advertised and held for public review and input.  The 2025 budget was then adopted during the regular December meeting of Tidioute Borough Council which was held December 10th at 7:00 pm in the Tidioute Borough Office.   

The proposed operating budget for 2025 is balanced, with anticipated revenues and cash balances sufficient to cover all necessary expenses, resulting in a surplus Fund balance. Please take note of the following:

• Our fiscal year and budget year run from January 1st to December 31st, aligning with the calendar year.
• The budget serves as a forecast—not an actual accounting of funds. It projects the revenue the Borough expects to receive and the expenditures it plans to make throughout the year.
• There will be no increase in taxes for this budget year.
• The tax millage rate for Tidioute Borough remains at 16.98 mills.
• The budget is currently available for public review and will be open for a 10-day period starting November 14, 2024.
